Use for the treatment of fungal infections in children
The recommended dosage of fluconazole for children under the age of two weeks (gestational age from twenty-six to twenty-nine weeks) is calculated based on the ratio of three to twelve milligrams per kilogram of body weight of the child. The drug is taken orally or intravenously every seventy-two hours.
