Dermastabilon - medication used to eliminate fat. Its active ingredient - phosphatidylcholine, found in eggs, soybeans, mustard, sunflower seeds and other foodstuffs. Phosphatidylcholine, which belongs to dermastabilona, typically obtained from soybeans. Phosphatidylcholine is often confused with lecithin, but they are two different substances, which, however, have a common component.
Since the body uses to produce phosphatidylcholine acetylcholine (a neurotransmitter), it is part of some drugs for the treatment of memory loss

Dermastabilon provided in the form of a solution for subcutaneous injection. With it not only removes the usual fat deposits, but also to treat lipomas (benign fatty tumors) and xanthelasma - yellowish cholesterol deposits, located directly under the skin. Using injection dermastabilona can remove fatty deposits on a small scale - for example, on the eyelids or on the chin.
Dermastabilon widely used as an alternative to liposuction to remove fat on the hips, abdomen, back, neck, and other areas of the body. In one study, after injection dermastabilona 80% of the subjects body fat have become noticeably smaller and improvements persisted for three years.
Injection directly into the lipoma dermastabilona can reduce tumor size on average by 35%. However, in one study, this injection caused an undesirable change in the patient lipomas, and as a result had a fat tumor surgically removed.
In clinical trials, it was also found that dermastabilon can significantly reduce body fat in the eyelids. In some subjects the positive changes after such treatment persist for a term of nine months to two years. It was also noted that dermastabilon can reduce cholesterol levels, but only for that this drug is generally not used.
Side effects and safety
Injections dermastabilona may cause irritation, swelling, redness, itching, burning, bruising, and pain in the area where the injection was given. These side effects persist only for a few days.
If administered in dermastabilon lipoma, a drug may cause an inflammatory reaction due to tumor which sometimes increases the number of connective tissue.
Scientific data on the safety dermastabilona for pregnant and lactating women are not available, so it is best to refrain from use during pregnancy.
Drug Interactions
Information about drug interactions phosphatidylcholine - the active ingredient in the composition dermastabilona:
- Anticholinergic drugs. While the use of phosphatidylcholine their effect can be enhanced.
- Inhibitors of acetylcholinesterase (AChE). As phosphatidylcholine, AChE inhibitors increase production of acetylcholine, therefore, while the use of these two medications are expected to and side effects of AChE inhibitors may increase. Some of the drugs in this category - donepezil (Aricept), tacrine (Cognex), rivastigmine (Exelon), and galantamine (Reminyl, Razadyne).
Some medications to treat glaucoma
Glaucoma - a perspective possible blindness
and Alzheimer's disease
